Bh Cosmetics – Weekend Festival (20 Color Shadow Palette) First Impression

The Weekend Festival was created to capture the glam spirit during the festival season. There are 20 shades in the palette. There is a mix of bright and neutral shades in matte and shimmer finishes. The shades are pigmented and rich – perfect for spending all day dancing into the night.

The variety of shades and finishes were designed to create statement eye looks. The options are endless – from halo eyes, sunset eyes, or rainbow looks! The shade names also fit the overall theme quite well – festivities, of course! The sunset purples and pinks are also calming.

With this color story, you’ll definitely be able to stand out in the crowd. The eye look possibilities are endless and the creativity can be achieved in this palette. Since festival tickets can be rather expensive, this palette can definitely be an option when it comes to an affordable, creative, and colorful makeup look!

This palette retails for $18.00. Unfortunately, this palette is considered limited edition. With that being said, it is no longer on the Bh Cosmetics website. But, it is on the Ulta website:

Packaging: 4.5 out of 5

The front packaging of the palette is absolutely gorgeous. I really like the purples, oranges, yellows and pinks. The gradient of these colors in the background is very appealing. I also like the black Ferris wheel and palm trees. It fits into the theme very well – it’s so simple but eye catching! The palette is cardboard and very light. I also like that the shades have names. I’m a little confused with why there is a random black block on the background of the shades. It doesn’t seem to fit to me.

I’m more into the mattes in this palette, to be honest. Some of the shimmers in this palette feel very dry and textured. It has me a little weary about fallout or flakes throughout the day.

Formula: 4 out of 5

The eyeshadow formula has been allergy tested and dermatologist tested. The formula is gluten free. It is recommended that the eyeshadows not make direct contact with the eyes and should be kept out of reach of children. If there are signs of irritation or rash on the skin, discontinue use of this product.

Customer Service: 2 out of 5

I ordered the Weekend Festival palette from the Bh Cosmetics website on April 6, 2018. I received shipping confirmation on April 9, 2018. My package was delivered on April 19, 2018. I’m assuming that shipping took awhile because I live on the east coast. My package was a little damaged, but my contents were fine. I think that I will be waiting until Bh Cosmetics products become available on Ulta and purchase from there. I’ve honestly had better shipping experiences with Ulta.

First Impression: 3 out of 5

Since Bh is so affordable and the quality is satisfactory, I think this is definitely a brand that should be partnered with in regards to makeup academies. They have brushes, eyeshadows, and other products! Their formulas comparable to high end brands. With that being said, Bh Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands. I remember wanting to try them for the longest time. I’m glad I finally took the plunge!

The first impression grade is 72%! This is a very cute palette! You don’t have to be going to a festival to get this palette at all. You can still love this and use it for any occasion. This palette can be easily traveled with or it could also be a nice gift idea for any makeup lover. We’ll have to see how they blend on the eye and if they last throughout the day. This will be fairly easy for me because I spend long days away from home at work and school!

Thank you for checking out my first impression on the Bh Cosmetics – Weekend Festival (20 Color Shadow Palette). I hope you’re having a great day/night wherever you are in the world. Let’s have another great work/school week – stay safe as well. Take a moment to look up at the stars and remember: Walk in beauty, my friends.

All of my love,
